Project Management Advisor
Main duties and responsibilities:

The Project Management Support Unit provides service and consultancy to the daily work of Project Managers of the Wintershall Organization
  • You provide direct Project Management support and consulting by attending working sessions as external expert, moderating critical working sessions and meetings, reviewing critical project documents.
  • You perform mentoring, coaching, skill development and training to Project managers and the project Team.
  • Furthermore you facilitate lessons learned, stakeholder identification, planning and any other project process activities as needed.
  • You provide guidance to the Project Management team in order to fulfil the duties towards themaintenance of tools, techniques and procedures and any other Project management related Topics.
  • Additionally you moderate and improve of the PM community, PM day and write regular blogs and Newsletters.  

Qualification / Skills:

Post Graduate degree in Engineering or Business Studies
  • Practical Project Management (PM) background with strong theoretical foundation
  • Formaly certified PM
  • 15+ years experience in oil & gas project management
  • Excellent technical knowledge in PM processes, PM tools including PM IT tools
  • Sound understanding of Business processes is required and experience of consultancy work on continuous improvement mandatory.
  • Social competency to work in a multicultural environment and has the ability to cooperate with Interdisciplinary teams
  • Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills in English
  • Committed selfstarter in a dedicated project team
