SPEAD for Production Engineers
Next start: January 2020
Production:                                                                         
  • Flow modeling utilizing state-of-the-art software (i.e. IPM from Petex) for production optimization and allocation purposes
  • Artificial lift involving concept selection, design and optimization during operation
  • Well start-up and clean-up procedures & execution
  • Day to day production & injection optimization involving:
    • Well and process facility performance diagnostics and identify mitigating actions
    • Well testing for allocation purposes & Well integrity monitoring
    • Short term production & injection planning
  • Providing petroleum engineering input to the planning & execution of sandface completions, workovers and well interventions
  • Exposure to flow assurance issues such as scale precipitation, wax & asphaltene, deliquification, slugging
  • Exposure to onshore & offshore operations involving workovers, well interventions, well testing, well clean-up
What you can expect:
  • A tailor-made combination of practical “on the job” training supplemented by selected technical training courses for a duration of 24 months

  • Clear and competent technical supervision from senior staff, and proactive support frommentors, and SPEAD coordinators
What we expect:                         
  • Master degree, equivalent or PhD (E&P relevant)
  • University study in a reasonable time frame and demonstrable academic achievement
  • At least one E&P relevant internship
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills
  • International experience (school exchange program, internship, study at foreign University)
  • Highly developed social and interpersonal skills
  • High flexibility and willingness to work internationally
